are pretty much always an issue of wrong treshold settings or microphone positioning.Īs long as peope take a few minutes to correctly set up their systems, voice activation gives you the ability to call without any impact on your focus ingame, because your hands are completely free. Background noise can be eliminated with certain software (noise reduction) and keyboard sounds etc. You really overexaggerated this.Īnd I would also argue that voice activation is definitely the way to go, at least if youre playing at home. Your left thumb however is not used frequently and theres really no impact on your WASD fingers when you move your thumb one key further. Only full palm grip arm aimers could probably use it without much impact. Also use IG ptt most of the time so random can hear it (if you happen to end up queuing with some) and discord to talk to your friends when ya don't want the random to hear.Īlso binding it to a key where you would use your left thumb is worse as it would changer the way your hand rests on the keyboard affecting your movement as you would raise your palm as not to press alt or space bar by accident.Īlso, when you say you change your grip constantly, then having to press a button in between might mess up your changing of the grip, because you do that according to your aim. Please help me with this because I cant use TeamSpeak anymore since I’m only in servers where I need to use push to talk. Background noise, keyboard slams, cussing, vigourus key stroke s very distracting. When I’m not in a server my push to talk mic works but whenever I join a server and use push to talk it won’t work. For example when you are shooting and counter the recoiled.Īlso voice activated in gaming isn't good at all. Most people are constantly adjusting the grip on their mouse and either decreasing and increasing the pressure from their hand on it. I know with my mouse I need to move my thumb (and I literally just measured this for this post) about 3/4 mm. Your hand is resting right by the buttons on the mouse anyways so I don't know how hard you need to squeeze then to make it work but usually just gently moving your thumb on the button makes it work.
